About Canyon Eatery Canyon Eatery is a locally owned Italian restaurant opening in Hurricane, Utah. We are building a strong opening team focused on handmade food, consistency, teamwork, and great hospitality. Our kitchen will focus on fresh prep, quality ingredients, and well-executed service. Position Summary We are looking for dependable and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing menu items during service, maintaining station organization, following recipes and standards, and working closely with kitchen leadership to ensure consistency and quality. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and standards Set up, maintain, and break down assigned station Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service Assist with daily prep and production as needed Communicate clearly with cooks, dishwashers, expo, and kitchen leadership Stock and rotate product properly Work efficiently during busy service periods Help maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards Support the team with opening, closing, and cleaning duties Qualifications Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Strong knife skills and basic cooking knowledge preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and follow recipes, procedures, and standards Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Food Handler Permit required or ability to obtain one Schedule Day and evening shifts available Weekday and weekend availability preferred Full-time and part-time positions available Benefits Competitive hourly pay Employee meal discounts Opportunities for growth within the kitchen Supportive team environment Opportunity to be part of a new restaurant opening
