Part time. Mon-Sat, some holidays.
AM shift:
9am-4pm, PM shift: 4pm-10pm.

Job Summary:
Tower Deli & Grill is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you'll support daily food prep by slicing meats and cheeses, washing and chopping produce, portioning ingredients, and keeping the prep area clean and organized. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Slice deli meats and cheese using commercial slicers. Wash, chop, and portion vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. Prepare and label ingredients for use on the line. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area. Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including stocking stations and restocking prep items during service. Follow all food safety and handling procedures. Work efficiently and consistently to keep up with prep needs. Communicate with cooks and supervisors to stay on top of daily prep tasks. Qualifications:
Some kitchen or food service experience required. Comfortable using basic kitchen tools, including knives and slicers. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team. Dependable and able to stay focused during repetitive tasks. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler's permit. Must pass a background check Must be 16 years of age
