Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety protocols Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices at all times Support meal preparation for various service periods, including catering events when needed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and other appliances Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold high standards of food quality and presentation Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Experience in menu planning, catering, or food handling is a plus Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Prior kitchen experience that showcases culinary skills and teamwork capabilities Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
