POSITION SUMMARY
The Line Cook works as part of a team and is directly involved in prepping, cooking, and plating food, ensuring proper setup of their workstation and adherence to food safety protocols. They must follow all food preparation procedures, quality control, portioning, and plating instructions. This role requires the complete setup and breakdown of the kitchen and equipment each shift. Must be available to work five days per week, including weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow directions from the Exec Chef, Chef De Cuisine, and Sous Chef for specific tasks. Execute dishes with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Work as part of a team, actively listening and communicating effectively. Maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at the workstation, always having a sanitizer bucket available. Stay organized to minimize waste. Maintain knowledge of food products and preparation procedures. Take care of kitchen equipment and workstations. Promote a safe and positive work environment. Properly rotate, label, and date all food products daily.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience, including prep, line, and other kitchen roles. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team at different skill levels. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours) Ability to bend, lift, push & carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
