Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring that all food service standards are met. Your expertise in menu planning and food preparation will contribute to the overall success of our dietary department. We're paying $14-$18, depending on experience. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required (2-3+ year). Knowledge of dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
