Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing daily menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely service Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to residents or guests Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies Contribute to meal presentation, garnishing, and portion control to enhance dining experience Collaborate with dietary team members to ensure all dietary restrictions and special requests are met accurately Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is a plus, demonstrating strong kitchen skills Familiarity with food handling regulations and proper sanitation practices Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or guests Basic knife skills and proficiency in food presentation are preferred Join us in delivering exceptional dining experiences!
