Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in the food industry. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Your expertise in meal preparation and menu planning will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring proper cooking techniques and presentation. Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and popular dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff on grill techniques and food safety practices. Maintain cleanliness of the grill area, including equipment and utensils. Experience Previous experience as a cook in the food service industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Proficiency with kitchen tools, especially knives, and grilling equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with meal preparation and menu planning is a plus. A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a willingness to help others in the kitchen are essential.
