  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled BBQ Cook to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Must love curing and smoking meats. This role involves creating delicious traditional Sothern meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to menu planning. The BBQ Cook will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning and develop new recipes that meet nutritional standards. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Collaborate with catering staff for special events and large meal preparations. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen personnel as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a kitchen environment. Strong skills in food preparation, meal planning, and catering services. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to help others in the kitchen as needed.
