Mobile Caterer - Weekends Dyvine Ltd Norfolk, VA Job Details Part-time $12.71 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Hospitality Driver's License Driving Food preparation Food safety Restaurant experience Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our catering services run smoothly and efficiently at our sites across Norfolk. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food preparation. Shift times are approximately 9am - 2pm and includes working every weekend. 9 hours per week (4.5 hours per day plus 30 minute unpaid break). Mileage and travel time contributions also paid. This role is mobile and therefore you will be required to use your own vehicle to travel to any of our sites across Norfolk. Responsibilities You must be confident and have the ability to prepare, reheat and serve meals for up to 40 residents. Prepare and cook vegetables, fish, and some key ingredients from fresh. Have a high level of meal presentation skill. Clear down servery area and wash up after service, ensuring the restaurant is left in a clean and presentable manner. Prepare sandwiches for tenants to purchase if requested. Keep the kitchen and equipment clean and tidy. Carry out all cleaning, washing up, and complete all HACCP and Food Hygiene paperwork accurately. Assist with ordering and stock control to ensure sufficient supplies are maintained. Ensure Food Hygiene/Environmental Health paperwork and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times. To maintain confidentiality and observe Data Protection and associated guidelines where appropriate. Have a friendly and approachable manner with a positive work ethic. Understand the needs of the tenants. High level of communication. Prompt time keeping. Accurately record daily meals that tenants receive. Deal with tenants that wish to pay cash daily. Distribution of Tenant invoices or paperwork if or when required. Able to work on own initiative. Be presentable and clean at all times. Experience is essential. You will need your own vehicle and a full UK Driving Licence.
