In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality raw seafood dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards of freshness, flavor, and presentation. You must have shucking experience. Your expertise in seafood preparation, food safety, and fine dining will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals eager to showcase their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble raw bar items such as oysters, clams, shrimp, and other seafood delicacies with precision and artistry Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative seafood presentations and seasonal offerings Ensure all seafood is stored correctly, rotated properly, and kept at optimal temperatures for freshness Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the raw bar area, including equipment and work surfaces Support catering events or special functions by preparing raw seafood displays that impress guests with their quality and presentation Qualifications Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols Must have shucking experience. Extensive culinary experience with a focus on seafood or fine dining environments is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to raw seafood dishes Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations within restaurant settings Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues Join us if you're ready to bring your culinary talents to a lively team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences!
