The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in various kitchen environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to our menu planning and overall dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, specifically in restaurant or fine dining settings. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods. Experience in menu planning and catering is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
