Role:
As a Prep Cook at Famous Anthony's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare ingredients and assist in the creation of our delicious menu items, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. You will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately, ensuring consistency in every dish. Ultimately, your efforts will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy exceptional food and service.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Eighteen years of age or older Ability to work on own and maintain effeciency. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role. Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as per the specifications. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the management team. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas, adhering to food safety standards. Stock and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring that the kitchen is well-equipped for service. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.
