Job Description
Love making pizza? Join our growing team. Chelsea Bakehouse is looking for Pizza Makers to join our team. We are a locally owned artisan bakery and pizzeria focused on scratch-made food, quality ingredients, and great hospitality. What We Offer 80 hours of PTO a year Group health insurance available Holiday Pay Staff Meals No late nights (we close by 10 PM) No early mornings (earliest shift starts at 10 AM) Small, supportive team environment Opportunities for growth with a growing local company Hands-on experience with artisan pizza production Position Details This position begins with a paid training period of approximately 2-3 shifts per week starting in late June or early July. Full-time hours (35-40+ per week) will begin in late July. Responsibilities Making pizza dough from scratch Scaling, mixing, fermenting, and shaping dough Preparing and portioning ingredients Stretching, building, and baking pizzas to company standards Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Assisting with dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen duties as needed Receiving, organizing, and stocking inventory Working efficiently and maintaining quality during busy service periods What We're Looking For Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience Experience working with dough is a plus Strong work ethic and attention to detail Self-starter who can stay productive without constant supervision Problem solver who can think on their feet during busy shifts Team player willing to help wherever needed Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency Reliable, punctual, and dependable Willingness to learn and accept feedback Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Listed pay range reflects average earnings including wage plus average tip share.
