Breakfast Cook

Swift House Inn is Middlebury's premier lodging and dining establishment. We are looking to hire a reliable, motivated person to assist and work alongside our current breakfast chef. Our ideal candidate has an easy-going attitude and a good work ethic. Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to collaborating with the breakfast chef to create specials and elevate the guest food experience, cooking breakfast for guests and staff, preparing ingredients for future shifts, and cleaning up the kitchen to health code and Swift House Inn standards. Occasional event and evening shifts are available for additional hours. It's hard work, but it's fun. We're a close-knit team, and we're proud of the work we do. Qualifications Proven experience in cooking and food preparation, with a strong focus on breakfast. Strong sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and consideration for others. Experience in food service management and kitchen operations. Familiarity with banquet and fine dining service standards. Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production processes. Strong inventory management and control skills. English language skills are preferable.
