We are a classic local sports bar with a busy breakfast program and a kitchen that needs cooks who can move with purpose. Our breakfast menu includes steak and eggs, breakfast burritos, omelets, pancakes, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, French toast, hash browns, home fries, and more. Position Overview We are looking for a strong breakfast line cook who can handle a busy morning line, cook eggs properly, and keep tickets moving without sacrificing quality. This is a good fit for someone who already understands breakfast service and can work clean, fast, and organized in a fast-paced, small kitchen . Responsibilities Set up and stock the breakfast line before service Cook eggs accurately to order Prepare omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast meats, potatoes, and other breakfast items Execute tickets quickly and consistently during rushes Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures Keep your station clean and organized Communicate clearly with the kitchen team, servers, and expo Assist with prep, dishes, cleaning, and closing duties as needed Requirements Breakfast line experience strongly preferred Egg cookery experience required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain one Reliable transportation and strong attendance Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a fast-paced, small kitchen We're Looking for Someone Who Shows up on time and ready to work Takes pride in clean plates and fast ticket times Can stay calm when the board fills up Communicates instead of complains Works clean and respects the product Understands that breakfast is timing, rhythm, and consistency Can work shoulder-to-shoulder with a small team without drama Benefits Participation in the shared tip pool Medical benefits for eligible employees 401(k) for eligible employees Growth opportunities within a multi-location restaurant group Silver Star Sports Bar & Grill Serving Up Good Times Since 1968
