Beacon Hill Rehabilitation Come join our team and start making a difference! Beacon Hill Rehabilitation has an opening for a full time Cook!
Shift:
8am-1:30pm Sat urday and Sunday 10:30pm-6:30pm
Tuesday and Thursday Wage:
$18.50 an hour Our skilled nursing and rehab facility has an excellent reputation in the community. We are committed to providing an excellent clinical experience for our patients and an amazing work environment for our employees. Job Description The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Executive Director, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
  • Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
  • Prepare food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that safety regulations and precautions are followed at all times by all personnel.
  • Follow established Infection Control and Universal Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks.
  • Assist/direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Qualifications
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts.
  • Prior experience in an Assisted Living or Long Term Care Environment in the Food Service/Dietary areas
  • Must be available on weekends
