Next Door Gastropub is a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen dedicated to serving up quality food in a fun, team-driven environment. We take pride in crafting great food, building a strong crew, and creating a place where both our team and guests love to be. What You'll Do:
Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to spec with consistency, quality, and speed. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation — because clean kitchens make the best food. Assist with prep tasks like chopping, slicing, and marinating — teamwork makes the line run. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards — always. Communicate and collaborate with the team to keep service smooth, especially during busy rushes. Keep an eye on inventory and help restock or order when needed. Share your knowledge — help train new team members and set the standard.
What We're Looking For:
Proven kitchen experience (gastropub, fine dining, or high-volume kitchens preferred). Solid knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques. Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player — communication is key, especially when it gets busy. A passion for great food and pride in your work. Bonus points for creativity and interest in menu development.
