Job Description:

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Prep Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food items, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes Cooking syrups, jams, and food items following established cooking methods and recipes Assisting in food assembly and packaging Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met at all times Following food safety guidelines and protocols Monitoring food stock levels and placing orders as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook or prep cook in a kitchen environment preferred Strong cooking skills and knowledge of cooking methods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Food Handler Certification, ServSafe is a plus Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
