PM Banquet Cook$24-$26 per hourThe Rainier Club is looking for an experienced cook that has strong banquet/catering production skills and possesses the ability to multi-task. A typical shift can include butchery, soup making, vegetable production, and assisting with banquet execution. This individual needs to be proficient in grilling, saut ing, searing, braising and have good knife skills. This shift mirrors the business level with some fluctuation between morning and evening. The Rainier Club is a from scratch kitchen that allows passionate culinarians the ability to learn and grow while using great ingredients in a professional environment.

ResponsibilitiesManage your own personal production scheduleAssist with banquet production and executionCollaborate with the culinary team on menu developmentResearch new ideas, techniques, and trends to evolve the menuControl product costs through rotation, cross-utilization, proper cooking, storage, handling, and labelingMaintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and servedAdhere to the rules and regulations as stated in the Employee HandbookOther tasks as neededDesired SkillsStrong knife skillsBasic butchering and sauce making skillsStrong production and organization skillsAbility to prioritizeProblem solver and critical thinkerWorks well in team and individual settingsTime management and recognition of strict deadlinesAbility to multi-task and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced settingAbility to lift at least 50lbs, or more and stand on your feet for 8 hours Licenses required:
