Duties Prepare ingredients and components for menu items by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing food supplies efficiently Assist with cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely meal preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards Support menu planning by preparing ingredients based on daily menus and special dietary needs Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality at all times Assist with catering events or large-scale meal preparations as needed to support restaurant or facility operations Serve as a team player by supporting other kitchen staff during busy periods and ensuring smooth workflow Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation across various cuisines Familiarity with food handling regulations and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and catering services is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Good communication skills and a positive attitude to collaborate effectively within the team Join us as a Prep Cook and bring your culinary enthusiasm to life!
