Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and culinary skills will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to standardized recipes and food safety guidelines Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including proper food handling and storage practices Support cooking processes by executing various techniques such as chopping, slicing, grilling, and plating Follow all food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality food presentation Assist with catering orders and special event preparations as needed Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous but not required Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures Proven ability in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a fast-paced environment Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Experience in menu planning, food service, and catering operations is preferred Knowledge of the food industry standards for quality and safety Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts and eager to grow your skills in a vibrant kitchen environment!
