In this role, you will assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to create a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Tuesday thru Thursday 6am-230pm Friday& Saturday 1130am-8pm Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure meals are served on time and presented in an appealing manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Follow all safety and health regulations, including proper food storage and handling. Collaborate with the dietary manager and team to accommodate special dietary needs. Monitor inventory and assist with food orders as needed. Build positive relationships with residents and staff through friendly and professional interactions. Skills Previous experience as a cook, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting. Knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions, including texture-modified diets. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it. Physical ability to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
