Schedule:
The successful candidate will work from either 6:00 am - 2:00 pm or 11:00 am - 7:00 pm depending on the needs of the organization. This full-time position (32 - 40 hours per week) is central to creating nutritious and delicious meals that bring joy to our residents and guests. Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare meals for residents and special events, following standardized recipes and menu guidelines. Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring proper portioning and quality. Manage inventory and ensure timely thawing and preparation of ingredients. Follow food safety protocols, maintain clean workspaces, and organize food storage. Assist with special event planning and catering needs in collaboration with management. Maintain accurate records of food preparation and service for quality control.

Cook Qualifications:
Washington State Food Handlers Card Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen or similar setting; experience in Senior Living or Healthcare is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality, and commitment to producing high-quality meals. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
