Benefits (Full-Time, 30+ hours/week) Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid time off (PTO) About the Role Weatherly Inn is seeking an experienced PM Cook to support our senior living community by preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality evening meals. This role plays a key part in resident satisfaction, food safety, and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve evening meals following approved menus and recipes Assist with preparation and service of the noon meal as needed Supervise kitchen staff assisting with dinner service Ensure proper food presentation, portioning, and temperature control Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, coolers, and freezers Label, store, and rotate food to minimize waste Record refrigerator and freezer temperatures Prepare soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, and baked goods Supply PM snacks to the Wellness Center Assist with food ordering and inventory as backup to the Director Close kitchen safely at end of shift Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 3+ years cooking experience (healthcare, senior living, or similar preferred) Food Handler Permit (within 14 days of hire) ServSafe certification required Strong multitasking, leadership, and food safety skills Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shift Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment We maintain a strong policy of Equal Employment Opportunity for all associates.
