Line Cook Job Description:
The Line Cook is a key part of a collaborative kitchen team executing our restaurant's dishes with precision and care. A positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work quickly contribute to the success of the Line Cook.
About You:
You have basic kitchen knowledge, are eager to learn and advance your skills. You take pride in your work and enjoy cooking. Great at following recipes and step by step instruction with accuracy. Enjoy working as part of a fun and collaborative team. You prioritize tasks and can manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Safety is a priority. Able to lift 40lbs without assistance. Able to stand, walk, reach, bend throughout shift.
What You Will Do:
Work closely with the kitchen team, including chefs and other line cooks, to coordinate orders, communicate special requests, and maintain a harmonious and efficient working environment. Follow specific cooking methods, timing, temperatures, and portion sizes of pasta dishes ensuring quality and appearance. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and labeling. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold cleanliness standards. Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
