The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant settings. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Prior experience in dietary departments, catering, or food service is a plus, along with strong culinary skills and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning and meal presentation to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations Support private dining events and special functions as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Stock and restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils as required Assist with meal prep for dietary departments or special dietary needs when necessary Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining operations preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team Culinary experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is a must
