Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our menu standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, grills, fryers, and ovens efficiently. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation to meet dietary needs and preferences. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques and knife skills. Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred. Knowledge of dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members. Attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control. Ability to follow recipes accurately while being open to menu modifications as needed.
