Job Description
Overview We are looking for AMAZING and are willing to pay the right candidate accordingly! Please "google" the distance from your home to our resort before applying! We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that delight our guests and meet our established standards. Your passion for food, attention to detail, and culinary expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring food safety and exceptional service. You must be detail oriented, work well in a team envioronment, handle stress well, be willing to do all kitchen tasks, reliably show up to work, be flexible in your role, and show up prepared to work. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to menu specifications and dietary guidelines Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and allergen awareness Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a manner that exceeds guest expectations Qualifications Proven experience is required Strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants or fine dining establishments Demonstrated culinary experience with excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction
