Company Overview Canoe Bay has been dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality since 1993, offering a unique Northwoods experience characterized by privacy, delicious meals, and ultimate relaxation. Our accommodations range from stand-alone cottages to tiny homes, all set against the backdrop of a beautiful glacially carved lake. Summary We are seeking a talented Cook to join our culinary team at Canoe Bay. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing locally sourced, delicious meals that enhance our guests' experiences. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in ensuring that every meal is memorable. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with F&B Management to create seasonal menus using fresh ingredients from our organic garden. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist in harvesting, possibly baking and with special requests from guests when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to prepare a variety of dishes with attention to detail and presentation. Experience in fine dining or catering is preferred but not required. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
