Job Description
Job Summary Join the Bridge Bar Crew as our Outdoor Grill Specialist. This is a unique cooking position, the main perk being you aren't stuck inside behind the usual line! We have a separate grill area setup facing our band stage and lower patio. Enjoy live music and the beautiful summer weather. Our customers can see you as you prepare each plate so we do expect you to be friendly, outgoing, and be clean/presentable. We run a separate limited menu that features: Mahi Mahi, Ribeye, Shrimp, Salmon, and Chicken. Duties Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times Maintain cleanliness of the grilling station, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy periods Fresh veggie prep daily. Set up station daily Kitchen manager preps sauces during the week, however there may be busy times that require you to make a sauce on occasion. Recipes provided. This is a solo position, so you are working on your own executing each order. Part time. Currently open Friday 4pm-9, Saturday 11am-9, Sunday 11am-6. These hours may be subject to change to accommodate a new hire. We are hiring this position separate from our usual line cooks, however if interested, we would be open to bringing individual into the main line as well. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred, but not required. Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques for grilling and outdoor cooking Ability to work efficiently alone in a fast-paced outdoor setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and customer service This role is perfect for outgoing individuals who enjoy outdoor cooking and customer service.
