Duties Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and variations for fried dishes to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, knives, and other tools efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean, organized work station to promote safety and efficiency during meal preparation. Support food service operations by assisting with plating, garnishing, and timely delivery of orders. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow during busy periods and uphold excellent food industry standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols. Experience working in fine dining or catering environments is a plus. Proficiency with knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment such as fryers is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting the culinary team.
