Working Saturday and Sunday evenings, you will play an important role in preparing and presenting menu items aligned with Courtyard's Bistro concept, known for its balanced, flavorful offerings and efficient service. Your passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness will directly enhance the guest experience and uphold Marriott's standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Courtyard Bistro recipes and Marriott brand standards , ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with light menu planning, prep work, and ingredient organization to support smooth evening service. Maintain proper food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with Marriott and local health regulations. Set up and stock kitchen stations for evening service, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are ready for peak hours. Provide timely, efficient service while maintaining an organized and clean workspace. Support Bistro and hotel operations by assisting with small-scale catering, events, or group service when needed. Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure a positive guest dining experience. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas at the end of each shift. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Qualifications & Requirements Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred. Knowledge of basic culinary techniques, food safety standards (ServSafe preferred), and kitchen operations . Strong ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced evening service environment , especially during weekends. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Ability to stand, lift, and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and available to work Saturday and Sunday evening shifts consistently .
