Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for the food industry and commitment to quality service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Experience Requirements Previous cook experience is required.
