The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the restaurant industry. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and consistency. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, collaborating with the head chef and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory.
