$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Overview Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Cook/Aide, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will play a vital role in nourishing our residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment. You will be an essential part of delivering high-quality food service, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met while providing compassionate customer service. Responsibilities- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
- Assist with food production tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination
- Support meal delivery by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and assisting with food service operations
- Manage time efficiently to meet meal schedules and accommodate resident needs
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to sanitation and food safety standards Qualifications
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous dietary aide or culinary experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and staff
