Job Description

Overview We're Lost Apostle Brewing, a brand-new brewpub on the shores of Lake Superior in Washburn, Wisconsin. Here, the wild Northwoods meets the raw energy of the South Shore. Our beer is bold, our food is handcrafted and unfussy, and our space is alive with plants, light, and music. More than a brewpub, we're building a community gathering place—and we're looking for passionate, imaginative, and grounded people to join us. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Serve dishes promptly and professionally, providing excellent food service to guests and staff alike. Skills Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal assembly. Experience in restaurant or food service environments, especially in limited service concepts. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and kitchen equipment operation. Average tips range from $2-$5/hour extra!
