Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to streamline kitchen operations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and other culinary tools Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours while maintaining a positive work environment Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations to meet diverse customer needs Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering services, or culinary establishments is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation methods are essential for success in this role Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety will set candidates apart Prior kitchen or restaurant experience that showcases adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for culinary arts is highly valued Embark on an exciting culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
