You'll be the first face our customers see when they pull in, and you'll play a key role in making sure every visit goes smoothly — from the moment a car arrives to the moment it rolls out clean. What You'll Be Doing As our Tunnel Operator, you'll keep the flow of the car wash moving safely and efficiently while delivering a great experience to every customer who comes through. Your day-to-day will include things like guiding vehicles into the tunnel and making sure each one is properly positioned for the best wash possible. Before any car enters, you'll do a quick check — windows and sunroofs closed, truck beds cleared, and everything ready to go. You'll greet customers along the way, answer any questions they have, and make sure they feel taken care of. You'll also be monitoring the tunnel area and operating the retract system throughout your shift, staying sharp and alert to keep everything running without a hitch. Keeping the area clean, reporting any equipment issues to management, and stepping in to handle customer concerns on the spot are all part of the job. Above all, you'll be working hand in hand with the General Manager and the rest of the team to keep operations flowing the way they should. What We're Looking For A high school diploma or GED is required. Strong people skills and a positive attitude go a long way here. You should be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and outdoors in all types of weather. The ability to stay focused and accurate during busy stretches is a must, and weekend and holiday availability is needed. Prior experience in a car wash, automotive, or customer service setting. Experience with Sonny's is a plus.
