In this hands-on position, you will help ensure every vehicle is properly prepared, cleaned, and handled with care throughout the service process. Your attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism help create a smooth experience for both customers and team members. Duties Move customer vehicles safely in and out of the service drive and service stalls Greet customers in a professional manner and assist with basic vehicle service needs as directed Install protective items such as floor mats and seat covers Check and fill windshield washer fluid as needed Vacuum and lightly clean vehicle interiors after service Operate basic vehicle cleaning tools and equipment safely and correctly Inspect vehicles during movement and report any noticeable concerns or issues to service staff Maintain cleanliness of the service drive, shop areas, and wash/cleaning areas Sweep, mop, and keep work areas organized to maintain a safe and professional environment Dispose of trash and assist with general custodial duties as needed Follow all safety procedures when operating customer vehicles and equipment Work cooperatively with service advisors, technicians, managers, and customers Skills Ability to safely move and park customer vehicles in and out of service areas and stalls Professional communication skills when interacting with customers and dealership staff Ability to follow direction and assist with basic service-related needs as assigned Attention to detail when installing protective items such as floor mats and seat covers Ability to check and refill windshield washer fluid as needed Basic vehicle cleaning skills, including interior vacuuming and light cleaning Ability to safely use basic cleaning tools and equipment Awareness and ability to identify and report vehicle concerns or damage appropriately Strong work habits in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Willingness to perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal Commitment to following all safety procedures when operating vehicles and equipment Team-oriented mindset with ability to work cooperatively with service advisors, technicians, and management Why Join Us Green Family Stores has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work" in Springfield, and we take pride in maintaining a supportive, team-oriented environment where employees are set up for success.
