Car Detailer / Porter

About the role NextDrive Chicago is a fast-paced dealership located in Westchester, IL, and we're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Car Detailer/Porter to join our team full-time. In this role, you'll play a key part in making sure every vehicle on our lot looks its absolute best — from new arrivals to customer trade-ins and sold units ready for delivery. What you'll do Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to showroom standards Apply wax, polish, and protective coatings as needed Clean and dress tires, wheels, and engine compartments Move and position vehicles on the lot as directed (portering) Pick up and drop off vehicles at customer locations, auctions, and other dealerships as needed Inspect vehicles before and after detailing and report any damage Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery Maintain a clean and organized detail bay and supply area Assist the service and sales teams with vehicle readiness Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Prior automotive detailing experience (required) Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to work in varying weather conditions outdoors Reliable, punctual, and a team player Compensation & benefits $16-$25 per hour, based on experience Full-time, Monday-Saturday schedule Paid time off Employee discounts Opportunity for growth within the dealership How to apply Apply directly through Indeed, or stop by our dealership at 11125 W Roosevelt Rd, Westchester, IL 60154 .
