Automotive Detailer

Weelborg Chevrolet of Glencoe is seeking a dependable, motivated self-starter and detail oriented Automotive Car Detailer . The Detailer cleans new and used automobiles owned by the Dealership and by Customers. This is a fast paced environment where we strive for excellence in quality workmanship and creating a great customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Wash, wax and buff vehicles exterior Clean interior and windows Vacuum and scrub interior upholstery Clean engine and engine compartment Apply dressing on tires and polish wheels Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness Perform equipment maintenance Perform tasks for other departments such as cleaning snow and ice, cleaning building equipment etc. Follow guidelines for safety, proper handling and disposal of chemical agents Use personal Protective Equipment as directed Attend department meetings or employee meetings Operate all tools in a safe manner Report safety issues to management

QUALIFICATIONS

Dependable Team-player Valid driver's license and good driving record Able to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods Buffing experience is a plus Experience is preferred, but not required
