The Opportunity This role blends detailing, ceramic coatings, window tint, and paint protection film (PPF) into one structured career path. You will start by mastering core services and progress into advanced installations, leadership responsibilities, and higher pay tiers. Core Responsibilities Detailing & Vehicle Care Wash and decontaminate vehicle exteriors, wheels, wells, and jambs Clean and protect interior surfaces including glass, trim, carpets, upholstery, and headliners Perform stain removal, odor elimination, and fabric protection Clay bar treatments, polishing, and paint correction Apply waxes, sealants, and Fireball Ceramic Coatings Clean and dress engines, tires, and wheel wells Inspect vehicles for defects and communicate findings clearly Window Tint Installation Prep and clean glass for film installation Cut, heat-shrink, and install tint film (side, rear, windshield) Ensure bubble-free, dust-free, precise installs Advise customers on shade options and legal compliance Maintain tint tools, plotter systems, and workstations Paint Protection Film (PPF) Wash, prep, polish, and prepare surfaces for PPF Install partial kits and full-body wraps Perform precision trimming, edge wrapping, and bulk installs Heat-form film around complex surfaces Inspect and correct installs for perfect adhesion and finish Maintain plotter software, templates, and cutting systems Team & Shop Standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards Take ownership of your work and your results Uphold Auto Appearance Specialists' reputation at all times Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to pass initial & ongoing drug screenings High school diploma or GED Basic computer literacy (email, scheduling, documentation) Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Preferred (Not Required) Experience in detailing, tint, PPF, wrapping, or automotive fields Familiarity with squeegees, heat guns, knives, polishers, and plotters Mechanical aptitude or shop experience Leadership mindset and desire to grow Compensation & Benefits $18-$55/hour (based on experience, performance, certifications, and bonuses) Ability to increase earnings through skill growth and leadership Starter uniforms provided Tips shared among staff In-house training + cost-assisted certifications (Fireball, XPEL, STEK, Hexis — with long-term commitment) Clear advancement into Senior Technician, Lead Tech, or Management Why This Role Is Different You're not stuck in one lane You're not capped on pay You're not just another employee You're joining a proven company , at the ground floor of continued expansion , with the chance to build your reputation alongside ours .
