Pay:

$20-$25/hr + tips, depending on experience

Schedule:

Part-Time (about 10-25 hours/week). Weekends required; weekday availability as needed Start date: May 2026 About Northway Mobile Detailing and the Role Northway Mobile Detailing provides high-end mobile auto detailing services for clients at their home or work throughout the Capital Region. We bring all equipment to detail vehicles of any size wherever they may be, working with both residential and commercial clients. We hold ourselves to the highest communication, reliability, and quality standards. This role is designed for someone with prior detailing, car wash, dealership prep, or serious hands-on automotive cleaning experience who can be trained to complete jobs independently. You will start by working alongside the owner to learn our process, service standards, equipment setup, customer communication, and checklists. Once trained and approved, the goal is for you to handle select mobile detailing jobs independently using our van, equipment, products, and scheduling/payment app. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day) Meet in Ballston Spa to load up and then travel to jobs Refill chemicals, restock towels, empty vacuums, and clean extractors Load/unload tools and keep van/trailer stocked, organized, and clean Confirm job details in our scheduling app (service type, add-ons, notes) and note preexisting damage before starting job Perform interior detailing: remove trash, vacuum, wipe down plastics, clean glass, shampoo and extract carpets/seats Perform exterior detailing: hand-wash vehicles, clean wheels/tires, physical and chemical decontamination of paint, rinse undercarriage, dry exterior, apply sealants to paint, apply tire shine Keep work area clean and tools organized throughout the job Follow our step-by-step checklists for each service to maintain high quality standards Document work with before and after photos Perform final walkthrough with customer, then take payment and provide receipt using our app Requirements Prior detailing, car wash, dealership prep, or serious hands-on detailing experience required Valid driver's license with clean driving record + reliable transportation to Ballston Spa Can lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for hours at a time Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly with customers Strong attention to detail and high standards Ability to work independently Able to follow checklists and repeat the same process consistently Growth and Perks Opportunity to move into independent solo jobs as demand grows Opportunity for commission-based pay once approved to complete independent solo jobs Tips from customers Bonus opportunities for strong performance, reliability, and customer feedback Work with high end, enthusiast, and well maintained vehicles For questions or to apply, please email Aiden@NorthwayMobileDetailing.com with your name, availability, your detailing/car wash experience and resume.
