Job Description

SUMMARY:
Cleans applicable areas of the plant while the plant is in operation, or after production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
may include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Follows all GMP and SSOP required processes. Cleans all machinery, tools, containers, belts, etc. either by hand or by adherence to CIP (Clean In Place) procedures. Disassembles and reassembles equipment for cleaning following prescribed procedures. Uses LOTO where specified. Cleans all equipment and inspects for food and other debris when a different product will be run on a line. Cleans all ceiling, walls and floors following daily production runs. Uses high-pressure hoses and nozzles to clean material and equipment, ensuring spray does not contaminate other surfaces or products. Occasionally lifts and moves heavy equipment. Cleans and empties garbage and trash when receptacles become full and at routine plant breaks. Routinely keeps facilities clean and free of debris. Washes dishes and bins as required. Coordinates with Supervisors, Crew Leaders and maintenance personnel to maximize efficiencies and timeliness of cleaning.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Have the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to speak simple sentences in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to count up to 4 digits.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES and

LOTO Certification, CIP Certification, Hazardous Chemical Certification.
