Aircraft Detailer Nova Aircraft Services Portland, OR Job Details Part-time From $21 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Detailing Customer service Driver's License Attention to detail Ladder climbing Polishing Full Job Description Job Summary Join our small team as an Aircraft Detailer at PDX, where your keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail will ensure our customers aircraft are maintained to the highest standards. In this role, you will be responsible for learning cleaning, polishing, and preparing aircraft surfaces to ensure safety, appearance, and customer satisfaction. Your dedication will help uphold our commitment to excellence in aviation maintenance and customer service that we have built since 2009. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on and around unique corporate and private aircraft in a very professional environment. This position pays a minimum of 30 hours per week and is perfect for an individual that can appreciate a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Perform cleaning of aircraft exteriors and interiors, including cabins, seats, windows, and carpets Use specialized tools and products for buffing, polishing, and waxing aircraft surfaces to achieve a pristine finish Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and ensure all surfaces meet quality standards Wear company provided uniforms while at work at all times Maintain cleanliness of hangar and work areas, adhering to safety protocols Assist with basic vehicle-related tasks such as driving equipment or small utility vehicles around the facility when necessary Communicate completed work accurately and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly upon discovery Qualifications Prior experience in customer service, detailing, or janitorial work is highly desirable Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for driving tasks around and off the airfield Must be able to pass an FBI background check and be eligible to receive a Port Of Portland security badge Candidates must sign a non compete and non disclosure agreement prior to beginning employment
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
Benefits:
Flexible schedule Paid training Application Question(s): Candidates must be available Monday through Friday for varying hours and occasional weekend work. Our work is wholly dependent on our customers schedules. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm but can vary depending on aircraft availability and job scope. Our schedule of work can change daily so flexibility is a must.
