3166 Apply Job Purpose Efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the Production lines by cleaning, sanitizing and storing production equipment and by providing basic housekeeping throughout the facility and personal use areas. When production is shutdown, the objective of this position is to perform Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) cleaning responsibilities as dictated by the MCS and to ensure all required documentation is complete. . Essential Functions Comply with all housekeeping procedures, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions, Sanitation Department policies, and required daily documentation. Completion of any and all required daily documentation, prior to the end of your shift. Always, have the goal of and work towards, keeping the Washroom clean and empty at all times. Disassembly and accurate reassembly of production equipment. Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment. Detailed cleaning and general housekeeping maintenance of the facility and grounds. Supplies replenishment (i.e. gloves, PPE, toiletries, paper towels, etc.). Snow removal from Team Member walkways and facility entrances. Waste removal and recycling. Cosmetic painting within the facility. Complete all company-required training when it is assigned. This is primarily accomplished through but not limited to, the use of ALCHEMY and on the Internet through AIB. Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance with all policies Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all good Manufacturing Practices Must be willing to work safely by following any and all, Safety Procedures/Policies as this position requires the use of hazardous substances and chemicals. Ability to consistently display a positive attitude in your own personal performance, and your interaction with your fellow Team Members. Must be able to provide, as well as receive constructive criticism and feedback aimed at continuous improvement and personal development. Thorough understanding of and compliance to, Company Policies and GMPs. Thorough understanding of and compliance to, the Allergen Control Program. Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures. Ensure the food safety of all products for all our customers and consumers. Any and all, other responsibilities as assigned by your Lead Sanitor or Supervisor. Ensure products meet the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code by reporting to a leader, supervisor, or manager any instances or conditions that would negatively affect the products quality, food safety, or regulatory requirements. Back up for this position is other Sanitors, Sanitor Lead and Sanitation Supervisor Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education/Experience) Must be able to work on all three shifts at any time, including with short notice, or with no notice, at all. Ability to work in a consistently wet, hot and/or cold environment, that is fast-paced and where food safety is of the utmost importance. Ability to bend and to stoop repeatedly throughout your shift; ability to crawl under equipment areas (when necessary). Ability to push, pull and lift 50-75 pounds; ability to push/pull heavy equipment. Ability to perform basic housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, trash removal and disposal; cardboard removal and baling; snow removal, and supplies replenishment (i.e. gloves, PPE, toiletries, paper towels, etc.).
