Automotive Detailer Job Summary Touchstone Detailing is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. We are a professional mobile and in-shop detailing company serving Nashville and surrounding areas, and we take pride in delivering high-quality work with great customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with vehicles, communicates well, and can follow detailing processes consistently. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Responsibilities Clean and detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, shampooing carpets and seats, cleaning leather, and cleaning floor mats. Wash vehicle exteriors using proper hand-washing techniques. Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, door jambs, windows, and exterior surfaces. Apply waxes, sealants, dressings, and other protective products as instructed. Assist with polishing, paint correction, and ceramic coating prep when trained. Perform quality checks to make sure each vehicle meets company standards. Drive or ride in company vehicles to mobile detailing appointments. Communicate professionally with customers when needed. Keep tools, equipment, products, and work areas clean and organized. Follow company procedures for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Automotive detailing or car wash experience is preferred, but not required. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate well. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions. Able to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day. Friendly, professional attitude with good customer service skills. Valid driver's license preferred. Experience Previous experience in custodial work or automotive detailing is preferred but not required. Familiarity with car wash techniques and products is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
