A Make-Ready Technician prepares vehicles for sale by cleaning, detailing, and inspecting cars to ensure they are showroom-ready and presentable to customers. Duties and Responsibilities Wash, wax, and detail vehicles inside and out Vacuum interiors and clean windows, dashboards, and upholstery Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and appearance standards Move and park vehicles on dealership lots safely Fuel vehicles and check basic fluid levels Remove stickers, residue, and minor cosmetic imperfections Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment Assist sales and service departments as needed Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Valid drivers license with clean driving record preferred Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles is a plus Attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to stand, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Previous detailing or car wash experience preferred but not always required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet conditions
