every vehicle looks, feels, and smells "like new" at delivery—on time, every time. Position Summary The Night-Foreman role is designed for an experienced detail professional who's ready to develop into a shop leader. You'll learn how to run day-to-day operations at a dealership location while actively leading the team, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production goals. This is a hands-on leadership role—part working alongside the team, part coaching and coordinating. Key Responsibilities Shop Operations & Leadership Support the day-to-day management of an automotive detail shop at a dealership location Help lead, coach, and oversee a team of detail technicians Assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and prioritizing vehicles to meet dealership timelines Maintain a clean, safe, organized shop environment and uphold company standards Quality Control Inspect completed vehicles and ensure consistency with Teph Seal quality standards Provide real-time feedback, rework direction, and training support to improve outcomes Ensure shop presentation and finished vehicles meet delivery expectations Hands-On Detailing Support Perform and/or assist with full vehicle detailing using proper chemicals and equipment Vacuum, shampoo, and clean interior surfaces (carpet, seats, plastics, and trim) Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces Dry vehicles using microfiber towels and/or air blowers Apply wax, polish, or protectants as required Operate equipment safely and help maintain/clean tools and wash equipment Drive vehicles through a wash tunnel or perform hand washes as needed Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in professional vehicle detailing (dealership or production environment preferred) Leadership potential and comfort coaching or directing others; prior supervisory experience is a plus Knowledge of detailing chemicals, tools, and best practices for interior/exterior cleaning Ability to drive automatic vehicles; ability to drive manual transmission is preferred (or willingness to learn) Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a high-volume environment What We Offer Competitive pay and performance-based growth opportunities Clear path to advancement into a Detail Shop Manager role Training and support to develop leadership, operational, and quality-control skills Teph Seal Auto Appearance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
