JOB PURPOSE
The Detail Specialist plays a dual role in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and assisting with parts inventory and logistics. This hybrid position ensures both a pristine vehicle presentation for customers and seamless parts coordination to support efficient shop operations. Detailing Responsibilities (approx. 50%) Perform interior and exterior vehicle cleaning to prepare for customer delivery. Conduct pre-wash on vehicles before repairs or detailing. Buff vehicles (preferred but not required). Move vehicles within the facility to support workflow efficiency. Maintain shop cleanliness and organization, including removing debris and trash. Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Parts Support Responsibilities (approx. 50%) Receive and match delivered parts to repair orders. Inspect all incoming parts for quality and damage. Return incorrect or damaged parts promptly to vendors. Communicate regularly with vendors to track parts delivery status. Ensure accurate parts invoicing and corrections within the estimating platform. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment. Automotive experience or interest preferred, but not required. Must pass a background check and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
